The Education and Training Pathway at John F. Kennedy High School provides students with active learning experiences through classroom site visitations and dual enrollment courses with educational institutions and universities. This program is geared towards student interested in all aspects of Education from becoming a classroom teacher Pre K-12 to administration and educational leadership positions.

Our Pathway also allows students to engage in clinical observation hours in which they will observe, share and reflect on best teaching practices and overall classroom environments. It is our goal that through these experiences students will see firsthand how theoretical frameworks are applied in practice, motivating and encouraging them towards this career path and training.

This pathway has given recent graduates the opportunity to receive full scholarships and be at the forefront of receiving employment before and after graduation. The demand for educators is continuously growing and is a career path that is forever evolving and here to stay.
